Anna came looking for Brando, when she got to the site. She was met by Laura, her secretary, who told her that Brando was not there at that time because he was in the field doing some phone line troubleshooting. Anna looked very disappointed upon knowing that Brando was not there. She would have wanted to be the first one to tell him about the board's decision to promote him very soon. Anna was sure that Brando will be very happy to hear such great news and his mom would surely be very proud of him, too. Wanting to personally bring the good news to her best pal, Anna stayed on to wait for a little while. True enough, Brandon arrived although much later. Right away, Anna approached him to tell him of the news. Brandon could not believe what Anna has just told him. He has been waiting for such a promotion in the last couple of years. It made him feel good that management has finally seen his efforts to contribute positively to the growth of the company. |

Eula works in a music school in Manila. She wanted to call her younger sister, Mae, who was living in Cebu with the rest of the family. It was her birthday and she wanted to wish Mae a happy birthday. When she called her younger sister, she wondered why the land line wasn't working. She tried to check the internet to check if she was online the social networking site but she wasn't either. So she had no choice but to call her by her mobile. Now, she was able to connect with her sister. She asked where Mae was and Mae answered that they were in the restaurant with the rest of the family. Eula asked what happened to the land line. Mae told her that they were having a telephone problem. It was the machine's fault why she couldn't get through and that their mother is planning to change their unit so that their lives would get back to the easy living mode. Eula just thanked the Lord for making her family safe and that she was able to talk to Mae to send her best wishes. |

Devon enjoyed taking pictures. He was becoming quite good at it. The classes he had taken at the community college had really helped hone his skills. His favorite thing to take photos of was nature. This included animals, plants, trees and landscapes. He was interested in displaying his photos online but was unsure of exactly how to do so. He contacted one of his photography professors and asked him &ldquoHow can I Photoshop my pictures online?&rdquo The professor gave Devon a list of articles and a book that he could refer to in order to get instructions on the subject. Devon did his research and followed the instructions exactly. He was able to create a portfolio of his photos online. Then he used links to point people for the gallery from the blogs of friends. Devon was very pleased when his portfolio was being viewed over 100 times a month. He even began to get requests from individuals wanting certain photos to be taken. Devon was happy to take the photos that people requested. He was even more pleased when some of them paid him quite handsomely for those photos. |

They say that when people are in need they will do anything for the person who can offer them a solution. However once a solution is found people will tend to forget all those who helped them. This is very true where inventors of different creations are concerned. Many of them have been forgotten and their works have continued to be used without the slightest sign of appreciation. Take for instance the russell hobbs manual, it has been influential in the manufacture of dvd and cd burners as the instructions in this manual have broken down to simple terms how the process of burning music works. However if you were to ask 100 people if they knew who Russell hobbs is I can bet that at most only one person would admit to knowing him. This is because little appreciation has been given to inventors these days, they are shown on television and in magazines but after that they are forgotten from the memories of the very same people who use their gadgets. This is very sad.

People say that I have been through a lot of traumatic experiences and heart breaks and that is why I am a cynic when it comes to love. Trauma cannot make someone not believe in love. It will most definitely give someone trust issues but will not make them not believe in love, at least not me. The reason why I do not believe in love is because people tend to abuse it a lot. And they end up hurting a lot of people on the way. They have no regard of the well being of the other person they are completely selfish. My brother is infatuated by this girl and he knows it is not love. He tends to forget a lot when he is with her. The other day he forgot the password for his Motorola razor phone. He kept on murmuring that I Forgot My Unlock Code For My Razor. That rarely happens to him not unless he was distracted which he was. He knew that he would figure out what the code was when he was not being distracted. |

At times when you have a problem and you do not know where to go go for answers it can be really frustrating. The fact that you will be in that situation which is very helpless is not good for any one and it is good that you make a point for seeking for help at a time when you need it. Life has a way of leveling things because there are very few instances where you can get good solutions to the problems that you may have. This is why one should have friends, close family members and others who can come to your aid when you have a certain problem.The moment you realize that you can come to a point where you can get help then worrying is not possible at all. When you have a problem with blackberry storm then all you have to do is ask for help from the makers of blackberry or go to those whose business is to sell blackberry stuff. I am not fond of modern gadgets, but my husband bought a Blackberry Storm for me in time for our 20th wedding anniversary. At first, I find it difficult to navigate since it has no physical keypad. I am not familiar with how touch screen mobile phone works and using this gadget is a whole new experience. Our children are amazed by the phone’s technological features. In fact, they are always borrowing it from me, which my husband does not approve of. He taught me how to setup a password for it so that the kids cannot meddle with my personal messages. But just this morning, I realized that i forgot my blackberry storm password. I am afraid I might lose the contents of my phonebook if I keep on entering the wrong password. I will have this fixed by my husband since he is more knowledgeable on gadgets. His cell phone is also one from Blackberry so I think it has the same operation. I just wish we can resolve this issue the soonest possible time. |

I have been having loads of issues with trying to log into the app store to download some apps. I can not get it to work correctly. Sometimes i have logged in with no problems what so ever but now it keeps throwing me back out and says my details are wrong. I clicked on the i forgot my app store password link to start going through a reset procedure, the trouble with this is though it seems i am not receiving the reset password email. I do not know whether this is my email provider stopping it or if it is the site itself not sending it out. I am at a loss now as to what to do with this because it seems that is the only link they give for doing any kind of reset on the password. I do not have a phone number or anything for them so i am completely stuck at the moment. I am going to ask a friend to take a look and if they can't fix it i am giving up! |

Why can't things be easy in the technical world? I was an English major in college. All of our teachers expressed that all writings should be easy to comprehend by any literate person. They called legal forms and scientific writings goobly gook. I was sure that as time went on that writings would become easier to read. I will never understand why people write articles or instructions so no one can understand. I was having a problem with syncing ipod directions on one site. I tried to follow the directions and ended up deleting all my music from my library. I had to go back on and find better instructions that I could understand. The one site I found where most of the explanations were easy to read was wikipedia. They seem to have a lot of technical information in which a person with average intelligence can understand. Now if we could get the government, banks, credit card companies and all the rest of goobly gook writers to get a clue about how to write. |
